Homemade lemon popsicles

Homemade lemon popsicles, so easy and rich that you will not stop making them. The homemade lemon popsicles take me directly to the summers of my childhood, those refreshing ice lollies with homemade lemon juice. Very quick to prepare, with the only inconvenience of having to leave them for a whole day in the freezer before eating them. If little ones are not going to take them, we can add a splash of limoncello, which is spectacular, but this remains here between us.

How to make homemade lemon popsicles
Mix 200 grams of water with 200 grams of white sugar in a saucepan. Put the saucepan over medium heat and let the sugar dissolve completely. Let it boil for a couple of minutes.

Remove the saucepan from the heat and put the contents in a jug. We let it cool completely.

Add 200 grams of lemon juice and the zest of 1 lemon. We mix well.

We distribute the mixture in the lolly molds. We take them to the freezer for 1 hour and, after that time, they will have hardened a bit. At that time, we stick the sticks into the ice creams.

We leave the popsicles back in the freezer for 24 hours so that they freeze completely. After this time, we can now enjoy this refreshing dessert.
