New York Cheesecake, the authentic homemade American cheesecake and easy to make

Prepare this recipe of the well-known american cheesecake too easy. If we follow all the steps, I assure you that there will be a very creamy inside that no one will be able to resist trying it.
If we stick to original recipe of the cheesecake, we will accompany it with strawberry jam and red fruits. However, you already know that you can play with your imagination and give the flavors a spin simply by changing the jam each time you prepare it. Either way, it’s delicious.

New York Cheesecake Ingredients

- 120 g of chopped biscuits
-
- 80 g melted unsalted butter

- 740g cream cheese

- 165 g whipping cream (35% fat)

- 200g white sugar

- Juice of half a lemon

- 30 g of wheat flour

- Strawberry jam

- Red fruits to taste

How to make New York Cheesecake
Preheat the oven to 200 ºC with heat up and down. Grease and line the base of the mold and reserve it.

We mix very well 120 grams of chopped biscuit with 80 grams of melted unsalted butter. We have to obtain a texture that reminds us of wet beach sand.

We pour the cookies into the mold and with the help of a spatula or a spoon, we are accommodating them at the base and we go up about 3-4 cm along the walls. We reserve the mold in the fridge until the moment of putting the filling.

We put in a bowl 740 grams of cream cheese and 165 grams of whipping cream. Mix until both ingredients are integrated.

Now add 200 grams of white sugar and mix very well.

Add 3 M eggs and mix until fully integrated.

Add the juice of half a lemon and integrate it into the mixture.

We pour 30 grams of wheat flour and mix until it is fully integrated into the mixture.

When our cream cheese is completely homogeneous, we transfer the dough to the cookie mold that we had reserved in the fridge. Place in the oven and bake for 10 minutes at 200ºC with heat up and down. Next, we will lower the oven to 190 ºC keeping the heat up and down and we will bake for 20-25 minutes, until we see that the sides of the cake are set and the center still dances a little. After the baking time, we will let the cake cool completely in the oven.

When the cake has cooled in the oven, we transfer it to the fridge and leave it for about 4 hours, until it is completely curdled.

Once cold, remove the cake from the mold and decorate it with the strawberry jam and red berries just before serving.
