Oatmeal, banana and chocolate cookies: easy, homemade and delicious. If you have already tried the classic oatmeal cookies or the cookie-type oatmeal and chocolate cookies, the ones we are going to prepare today with bananas, you are going to love them. These cookies are a perfect snack for those moments when we need to eat something sweet. They are prepared in a very short time and in a single bowl and they also serve us to take advantage of the bananas that have become too ripe to eat them alone.
Instead of using traditional wheat flour, in this recipe we have used oat flour and also rolled oats to add more texture to the cookies. By using oat flour we make them suitable for those who cannot eat gluten and can eat oats, and it also allows us to play a little with other varieties of flour that we can find on the market.
For these cookies we have not used additional fat, only the butter that the cocoa beans contain. We haven’t put much sugar either because the banana and also the chocolate chips add a sweet touch.
Once made, the best way to keep them is in a tin box in the fridge. Thus, we have them ready to enjoy at any time of the day.
