How to make cinnamon rolls (cinnamon rolls)
For mass, mix in the mixer bowl 300 g of sifted all-purpose flour with 40 g of sugar. If we don’t have a robot to knead with, we can make the mixture in a bowl and knead it by hand.

Add 7 g of dry baker’s yeast to the bowl.

Pour 150 ml of milk at room temperature into the bowl and mix the ingredients lightly to start forming the dough.

Add 1 egg at room temperature to the dough and knead so that all the ingredients are integrated.

Add, little by little in batches, 40g of butter at room temperature and work the dough with the hook of the robot mixer at medium speed, for 10 minutes.

Transfer the dough to a bowl greased with oil, cover it and let it rest for a first fermentation in a warm place for approximately 2 hours or until it doubles its volume.

While the dough ferments, prepare the filling. To do this we mix 60 g of butter at room temperature with 50 g of brown sugar and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder. Once done, we reserve it in a cool place, but not in the fridge.

We also prepare the frosting of cheese mixing 150 g of cream cheese with 30 g of sifted icing sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla paste. we booked the frosting in the fridge.

After fermentation, we degas the dough and stretch it in the shape of a rectangle on a floured surface. Next, we spread the butter and cinnamon filling over the entire surface of the dough.

Roll up the stuffed dough and cut it into 12 portions with the help of a piece of kitchen string.

We take the portions to a round dish covered with baking paper and place the rolls in it, leaving some space between them. Afterwards, we cover them with a cloth and let the dough rest again so that it ferments a second time for 30 or 40 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 200 ºC with heat up and down, and bake the cinnamon rolls for 30 minutes.

We wait at least 1 hour until the rolls are cold and then we cover them with the frosting that we had reserved in the fridge. After this, we would have them ready.

The cinnamon rolls They are delicious freshly made, but if they are left over, they are perfect if we heat them for a few seconds in the microwave.
