Banana ice cream, homemade recipe to make it very creamy

The banana ice cream is one of the best fruits to make ice cream since it has little water, that will help us to get soft and creamy ice creams with hardly any addition. When we want a quick and healthy ice cream, simply with frozen banana, yogurt and a sweetener we will have a perfect frozen mixture to refresh ourselves without giving up taking care of ourselves. In this case, our banana ice cream will not be so basic, but we will still make a simple, fast, very tasty ice cream with very few ingredients.

How to make banana ice cream
We begin the recipe by weighing and measuring the ingredients. First of all, we whip the cream and store it in the freezer while we prepare the rest of the ice cream mixture.

In a blender or processor we put the banana, a little lemon juice, the salt, the maple syrup, the vanilla and we crush everything until we have a homogeneous cream.

Little by little and without stopping beating we add the milk.

When we have a homogeneous and slightly thick cream, we also reserve it in the freezer for half an hour so that it cools down a bit and we can mix it with the cream. Carefully add the previous mixture to the bowl where we have the cream that is cold but not yet frozen.

The next step once we have the banana ice cream ready is to butter it, add air, which, as always, we can do in two ways.

If we have an ice cream maker, we pour the mixture into the bowl and butter the ice cream following the instructions of the machine.

Otherwise, we can do it in a homemade and artisan way and for this, we first keep it in the freezer. To add air and get a creamy ice cream, we have to stir it every half hour to break the crystals that form.

We do this for at least 3 hours. Once we have achieved a creamy mixture, we store it in the freezer for two or three hours before serving.

Finally, we will decorate it with laminated banana and maple syrup or with dark chocolate. To make it easier for us to serve, we can make the balls and freeze them, and at the time of serving they are ready.
