Ingredients for the chocolate napolitanas
-
- 2 sheets of butter puff pastry
-
- 12 chocolate bars about 10 cm long
-
- 1 beaten egg

How to make homemade chocolate Neapolitans
Roll out 2 sheets of butter puff pastry and cut each sheet into 3 strips of approximately 10 cm. Preheat the oven to 180 ºC with heat up and down.

We take one of the puff pastry strips and place a chocolate bar at one end.

Roll the puff pastry over the chocolate bar.

We then place the second chocolate bar on the puff pastry.

We finished rolling the puff pastry and left the closure of the dough at the bottom. Place the Neapolitan on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and repeat with the rest of the puff pastry strips and the remaining 10 chocolate bars until we obtain 6 Neapolitans, in this case.

Brush the Neapolitans with 1 beaten egg and put them in the oven. Bake them for 20-25 minutes, until they are golden to our liking.

Remove the chocolate napolitanas from the oven and let them cool slightly on a wire rack.

We can consume them cold or warm. Either way, they’re delicious.
